was looking for a new primary and stumbled upon Heale Medical. I made my appointment based on the good reviews and am happy that I did.
Everyone from the front desk coordinator to Dr. Ng herself were incredibly friendly and attentive.
Dr. Ng made sure to hear out my symptoms and how I was feeling in order to get the best sense of what could be happening with me. She then explained to me what medication she would prescribe and following steps. She was happy to answer any questions I had and in a way that someone like myself (no medical background at all) could understand fully.
I have since scheduled a follow up appointment with Heale Medical since I feel comfortable and confident in their care.
Also as a side-note, there are some dedicated parking spots for Heale Medical outside the practice (in addition to the other open general use free parking). This is a nice quality-of-life thing as someone who has had to deal with less than ideal parking situations before. I found Heale Medical Primary Care on Zocdoc and I’m so glad I did! I saw the reviews on google was a perfect score so I had to check it out myself. The clinic is super close to where I live and I needed to find a new primary care doctor as my company no longer supported Kaiser. When I first arrived for an annual physical exam, I was welcomed by the front desk associate Georgina who was very friendly and helped make the onboarding process very smooth. I ended up getting a flu shot from the nurse and she was also very friendly and welcoming. I have a fear of needles but she made getting the flu shot very quick and easy. I met with Dr. Stephanie Ng and I felt she was very easy to talk to and very personable. I went in the afternoon, so I had to come back another day to get my blood drawn for the physical exam. They mentioned that I can just drop in at any time without an appointment which was so nice that it gave me that flexibility because my work can get crazy. I came back a week later in the morning to get my blood drawn by Connie Stevens and she was also lovely to talk to and we would be in conversation which really put myself at ease as she took 6 bottles of blood for the physical exam. I have a fear of needles and she made this process very smooth. I noticed they also had a 3D machine to get your body comp information so I asked Georgina about it on my way out and she mentioned that since I was there I can do a quick scan. I loved how I was able to also do this during this drop in trip. The furniture and interior design also felt like you were more at home instead of a cold hospital which I really appreciated as it felt more warm and comfortable. I felt very taken care of at this clinic and I’m very happy to have found this place so close by! Dr. Shaheen Mian has been practicing Internal Medicine / Primary Care for more than 30 years. Dr. Mian has extensive experience in treating patients with a multitude of medical conditions. She recently relocated from Massachusetts to Northern Virginia to be close to her family.
During her tenure in New England, Dr. Mian worked as a Primary Care physician in various capacities providing inpatient and outpatient care. She ran a private medical practice for over 20 years, managed a medical weight loss program, where she supported patients in their weight loss journey, and supervised care to patients in skilled nursing facilities.
Dr. Mian was faculty at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and trained medical students and nurse practitioner students for several years. She was Quality Medical Director in her local care organization where she oversaw quality metrics in physician practices to increase compliance with Medicare regulations. Committed to giving back to underserved communities, Dr. Mian volunteers her time regularly to minority communities and people in need.

Dr. Park completed the Bachelor of Science / Doctor of Medicine program at Northeastern Ohio Medical University. She completed an internal medicine residency at Case Western Metro Health in Cleveland, Ohio, and is Internal Medicine board-certified physician. Dr. Park has 10 years of experience and prior to starting at Heale Medical, she worked in academic medicine as well as hospitalist work. Her focuses include preventative care and women’s health. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercise and spending time with her husband and two children. She also likes to volunteer at church and with various global health organizations.
DR. STEPHANIE NG, D.O.
Dr. Stephanie Ng completed her undergraduate studies at University of New England in Maine after serving as a medic in the US Army for four years. She graduated with a degree in Medical Biology and began working in the biotech/pharmaceutical field as a research assistant. She attended the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency program with the US Army in El Paso, TX. Upon completion of her program, she was assigned to the largest American hospital outside of the US in Germany.
During her time there, she worked as a primary care physician until she was deployed to Afghanistan as a Battalion Surgeon with the 2nd Cavalry Infantry unit. With the help of her medics and PA, she ran a sick call clinic for her soldiers, attended to minor traumas, provided medical training/education to the combat medics as well as organized a Flu vaccination clinic and Osteopathic Manipulation Treatment Day alongside her Physical Therapist. Throughout her career she had worked in various positions to include hospitalist, primary care and urgent care.
Her medical interests include preventive healthcare, integrative medicine, OMT and aesthetics. Dr. Ng is fluent in Spanish as well.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, watching movies, dancing and having adventures where ever life takes her!
